Showy Orchid Harmony: original pastel

Let’s just marvel at the miracle of these little orchids, who sleep half the year, more or less, in the soil, dreaming of the thrill of pollination, perhaps, or of the satisfaction of seed-making. And then the light grows, and there’s enough warmth for her to begin her work. And what work she undertakes! Buiding a small city of flower-houses, with opulent rooms of pink and lavender and white silk, and the table neatly laid with intriguing nectar for her guests. We are not invited to that table, but she delights in all who appreciate her endeavors. And with a little patience, and carefully placed feet, we might be able to peer a bit into her world, and glimpse a bit of her creative genius.
