The Walls We Build, the Light We Hold
This piece is another exploration of one of my favorite doodles. Both the piece and the doodle carry the title “Rooms of the Psyche,” and explore the question of how our inner light can be refracted, diluted, and even trapped by the walls we build inside ourselves. As with many pieces from this show, I have again used iridescent pastels, in this case to signify our inner light, and how it moves out into the world, diminished by the walls we create, but brilliant at our center.
